The Arts Council is embarking on a project that will make arts education more accessible to everyone. We are pleased to announce that we are working on the first edition of ARTSbook, an arts education directory and arts registry for Clark, Floyd, and Harrison Counties in Indiana.
The directory portion of ARTSbook will focus on arts education programs for students grades K-12 in Southern Indiana. In this section we will have listings and detailed descriptions of arts education providers and their programs. There will also be an arts registry section. The registry will feature listings of both artists and nonprofit arts organizations. Listings in both sections of ARTSbook are available to artists and arts groups within the three counties.
ARTSbook will be a valuable marketing tool for all arts education providers and a fantastic resource for anyone interested in the arts in Southern Indiana. This publication will be specifically designed to promote Southern Indiana's and regional artists and arts groups. We plan to make the directory available online in a digital format that will be easily acessible to schools, libraries, museums, and the general public.
So how do you get involved? A listing in the ARTSbook is free - just download the form below and return it to the Arts Council. We are excited to offer this new service and hope you will assist us in compiling as comprehensive a directory as possible.
Thank you for helping us to ensure that the arts stay alive and prominent in our community.
